About the Book

Layla has always lived in two worlds: the bustling streets of New York City and the vibrant, familiar rhythms of Mumbai. About the Author

Sienna Layla Tolani is a student writer, journalist, and editor in New York City. Growing up between cultures has shaped both her voice and her curiosity, inspiring her to explore questions of identity, belonging, and perspective through storytelling.

At Horace Mann School, she serves in editorial roles across several student publications, including:

• The Voyager - a travel magazine focused on place, culture, and global perspective
• The Review - a current-events journal centered on thoughtful debate
• Folio 51 - exploring gender equity and women's voices
• The Mannequin - her school's yearbook

Twice Home is her debut children's illustrated book.
