"Wasa'il al-Shia" stands as one of the most monumental collections of Shi'i jurisprudential hadith, rigorously documenting every dimension of religious law. Driven by the necessity of engaging directly with the explicit words of the Ahl al-Bayt, Shaykh Hurr Amili designed this collection as a complete, self-sufficient constitution for both knowledge and practice. Systematically organized by topic, the work aggregates traditions from reliable and mass-transmitted textual sources, expanding beyond the Four Canonical Books to gather the preserved notebooks of the early faithful.

Above all, it serves as an unaltered conduit to the Infallibles, offering the greatest gift possible: the ability to base one's religion firmly upon the pristine teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt.

Volume 2 transitions from the foundational etiquettes of daily hygiene to the comprehensive rulings of the major ablutions (Ghusl) and the solemn final rites of passage. The volume is organized into eight detailed sections. It begins with the recommended use of the Siwak or Miswak (Toothstick), followed by the expansive Etiquettes of the Bathroom, Cleaning, and Adornment. Moving into states of major ritual impurity, it systematically details the purifications required for Janabah (Ghusl for Major Ritual Purity), Haydh (Menstruation), Istihadha (Irregular Vaginal Bleeding), and Nifas (Postpartum Bleeding). Finally, the volume transitions to the end of life, concluding with the profound traditions regarding the Throes of Death and What is Related to It, alongside the meticulous procedures for Ghusl Al-Mayyit (Washing the Deceased).
