What About the Miracles?

In today's world, filled with disappointment, grief, untimely death, poverty, and despair, it can be easy to point to God and ask, "Why did you allow this to happen?"

What About the Miracles was written to recall and celebrate the miracles witnessed in the life of Bishop Carl B. Dixon, his family, and the church community. This book highlights miracles as evidence of God's power, sovereignty, and the Holy Spirit operating beyond the constraints of time, space, age, and human limitations.

By documenting these miraculous events, Bishop Carl Dixon aims to reflect on God's power, especially when circumstances seem impossible. As stated in Luke 1:37 (KJV), "For with God nothing shall be impossible." It is the writer's belief that the intention of the miracle is to transform disbelief into a faith that is both trustworthy and undeniable. When God's word faces off with our toughest situations, there is no real contest to his results.

It is Bishop Dixon's prayer that after reading this book, your faith in God's sovereign power and authority will be strengthened and deepened. Miracles are not a matter of luck or chance. When God performs a miracle, he does it on purpose, directing all glory to himself.
