Zachry K. Douglas, who has changed his pen name to, karnes, has taken a break from publishing the last half of year to focus on this book. It is his twenty-third book and his twenty-first self-published book. This book of poetry and prose consists of years of purging out thoughts and feelings about his life and the love he has lost within it. Grief is a weird thing. Even more so when you are doing it for someone still alive. These writings are a portrayal of how he felt in the beginning, middle, and ending stages of finally being able to let go of someone he thought he would never have to. Just like with every other book he has done leading up to this one, it tells its own story. This is the second and final installation of the title, When Goodbye Becomes You." Closure is something we think we need to find from someone else, But sometimes, we have all the power and is up to us finalize it four own way, for a better life, and another chance to have our hearts loved and adored for what's inside of it.
