Japanese anime based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro. Seeking World Cup success, the Japan Football Union implements Blue Lock, a brutal training regime designed to develop the greatest striker in the world. When high school footballer Reo (voice of Yuma Uchida), who dreams of World Cup glory, meets Nagi (Nobunaga Shimazaki) and discovers that he has a natural talent for football, the two become friends. Although Nagi is lazy and would rather play video games than sports, he is willing to help his friend to achieve his dream, and Reo hopes to unlock a love of football within him. When they are invited to attend Blue Lock together, their friendship will be tested like never before.
