Ralph Bates stars as the eponymous scientist in this British horror co-written and directed by Jimmy Sangster. Angry that he has been forbidden from continuing his experiments, Victor Frankenstein kills his father and inherits his estate. Using the family fortune to build a new laboratory, Frankenstein begins assembling a body from various human parts which he then succeeds in bringing to life. However, chaos ensues when the creature (David Prowse) breaks free and embarks on a murderous rampage. The cast also includes Kate O'Mara, Veronica Carlson and Bernard Archard.
